AN UNHEALTHY PRACTICE STOPPED. [per press association.] (Received 26,1.55 a.m.) i London, January 25. Messrs. Bryant and May have abolished the use of white phosphorus in the making of matches owing to the deleterious effects upon the workers. The newspapers applaud the firms action.
