FIRE AT AUCKLAND.

£PHB pbess association.] Auckland, January 25. A fire took place in Wakefieldstreet at 1.15 this morning, which resulted in the back division of a singlestorey building, divided into two shops, being gutted. The building was owned by Mrs. Plurnby, and was insured in the Royal for £2OO. Messrs. lAtherland and Co. occupied one shop, ] and had their stock of machinery insured in the United for £2OO. Craig (tailor) had his stock and machines insured in the Phoenix for £IOO.
