PATRIOTIC FUND.
Christchurch, January 19. The Canterbury War Fund contributions exceed £4,800, in addition to horses given to tho Government and £2,000 received for the Patriotic Fund. (Recalled 20, 1.30 a m.) Sydney, January 19. The American Tobacco Company has donated 100 guineas to the New Zealand Patriotic Fund, and a similar amount to each of the Australian funds.
