A traitor at Rensburg, near Colesburg, states that a food train beoune detached from the engine and ran down a declivity towards the Boer lines. The British, finding it impossible to the runaway, brought their artillery to bear and destroyed the train, thus preventing the supplies falling into the hands of the Boers.
