No indications of what prices j would be ruling could be given by • retailers, (although it was thought that | with reasonable supplies rates should { be lower than those ruling during the ! early part of the season last year. Last whitebait season was an extremely poor one, diue to unusual rainfall and consequent) flooding of rivers and streams.
