HON. P. FRASER’S REMARKS L Menace Of War Auckland, July 1Further reference to his remarks, regarding the possible danger of an outbreak of war was mu de by the acting-Prime Minister, Hon. P. Fraser, in a statement, issued last evening. “My remarks in regard to the danger of rupture in international tionships., carrying with the danger of a possible ouetbreak of war were based exclusively on published cable news,’’ Mr Fraser said. “They were part of >a. brief resume of world affairs in which 1 emphasised the menace of war, due to the overthrow of democratic principles in various countries, and the weakening of the power and effectiveness of co-oper- •- t.on through the League of Nations and the consequent loss of good will among the nations. “They were no more than a person, al opinion based upon my own interpretation of the world position and had no other significance.
