Those present were: Mesd'ames J. B. Richards, A. W. Budge, G. Hale, S. Pitt, S. Macalister, D. Smi'th, L. J. Furrie, R. Curtis, E. P. Hill (Mangatoki), D. Steven, J. Hunt E. S. Rutherfurd, ' J. Betts, W. B. Farquharson, P. Harrison, Dr. D. Gordon; the Misses J. Hill (Mangatoki), M. Porritt, M. Malone. * * * The I’ast night of the Hawera Festival was a most popular function, the hall being packed', in fact people were turned away. Among the Stratford members of the British Drama League who have attended the different sessions were: Mr and Mrs Hale, Mrs E. H. Young, Mr and Mrs R. Carryer, Mr and Mrs F. Walker, Mr and Mrs Uniacke, Mrs Carryer and the Misses. Black, E. Moon and many others.
