Short work of Tony Felice was made by “smiling” Steve Savage in a professional wrestling content tonight The bout ended in the fourth rqund, with Savage gaining two straight falle to nil. The winner wjs obviously too good for Felice, despits the handicap of a stone in weight, and applied his spectatular step-over toe-holds to secure both falls.
Blomfield And Rumberg laomfleld end Rumberg wrestled a draw at Hawera, each gaining a fall. A record crowd was present. Rumberg had the advantage in the first four rounds and gained a fall in the fifth with a series of headlock throws culminating in a flying scissors and press. In the seventh round Blomfield caught Rumberg oft his guard and gained a submission fall to an octopus clamp.
