CONTEMPT OF COURT .£lOO PENALTY IMPOSED In Gaol Until Pays Press Association —Copyright. (Received' 1 p.m ) London, June 29. A former moderator of the Presbyterian Church, Rev. Dr. T. M. Johnstone, was fined £lOO for contempt of Court during a speech at the General Assembly at Belfast, criticising the King’s Bench in granting a new license. Rev. Johnston was ordered to be detained in gaol till he paid the fine. He was 1 told he could not appeal. He will be l permitted to attend the ordination of his son on Thursday, after which he must surrender to glaol. The clergyman tried to address the Court, which broke up in disorder.
