Ignacy Moscscki. Police were ordered out and a strike is expected It is reported that the Pope has ordered an investigation owing to the threatened rift between the State and the
Church. The coffin was removed when the Archbishop learned that King Carol of Rumania was to place a wreath on Marshal Pilsudtki’s tomb. King Carol is due to arrive at Cracow tomorrow. It is understood that the Archbishop's decision was due not only to the fact that the King is not i Catholic but also because of his private life. A Polish pi;per suggests, the Archbishop’s arrest for an “affront to i ■ national pride.” Ex-Servicemen are : l particularly enraged.
