The Corps was opened in July by Caplin McCormack and I Lieut. Gates, under whose comj mend of six months 34 soldiers were j enrolled. I Keen opposition was the order of | the day in the early years of the I local Corps. Over a period of yeers i quite a creditable number of young - men and women have left this Corps and become officers in the ranks of | he Army.
