ALLAN JONES,

the personable young tenor, was.’ borr n Scranton, Pa., and began his musi cal career by singing in church choirs. He studied at the Syracuse Univer sity Music School, and in Paris, then sang on the concert stage, in opera and on the radio. He made his first film tappearance with Jean Harlow in “Reckless,’’ and recently scored an outstanding hit as the singing hero in the Marx Brothers' success, ’’A’ Night at tire Opera.”
