Keeton and Knowles passed the century mark unseparated 'before lunch. Hardstaff's batting suggested that the bowlers will ffind him difficult to dislodge oh a good wicket in the Test. Cowie again bowled with great heart on an unhelpful wicket. Dunning pegged away determinedly. Ho might easily have had more success. The Tindi-11 - Moloney combination again captured a wicket. Tindill's work was very steady.
