Mr L. Marfell, Huinga, has been nominated as area representative on ■ the New Zeaand Meat Producers’ [ Board for the district covering Tarai naki and Wellington provinces. I Th£ funeral of the late Mr James McDonald, whose death occurred on Monday at the Stratford Hospital, took place this afternoon, a long pro- ( cession of cars following the cortege to the Kopuatama Cemetery. The pallbearers were Messrs J. Walsh, P. : Uhlenberg, P. Kovaleski, T. Ryan, R. Wood, and P. O’Reilly. A guard of honour was provided by members of the Hibernian Society. Rev. Father ' Kennedy officiated at the service at ' the Catholic Church and at the grave- | side.
