SMASH AT BONDI TWENTY PEOPLE IN HOSPITAL Driver Extricated With Crowbar Press Association—Copyright. Received June 22, 1 p.m. Sydney, June 21. Twenty persons were sent to hospital and three are in a serious condition as a result of a collision involving three trams at Bondi late last evening during heavy rain. A tram driver and conductor were trapped in the wreckage and were extricated by men with axes and crowbars.
