When they made their first appearance in London they were regarded as just a passing fancy by pipesmokers; as for ladies, they hadn't learned to smoke them for many a year after that. And now millions of smokers of both sexes delight in cigarettes, and what’s more, about 89 per cent, of them roll their own.
