ANGRY STATEMENT
GENERAL HERTZOG ANNOYED Sensation In London Press Association—Copyright. London, June 20. An angry statement by the Prime Minister of South Afridi, General J. B. M. Hertzog, before his departure from England, has caused a sensation in Whitehall and South Africa. He told a South African journalist that, after a long conversation with the Secretary of Stat© for the Dominions, Mr MUlcolm MacDonald, concerning th© future of native protectorates in South Africa, he was most disappointed with the results of the talk. He added: “I fear that unless a different attitude is taken the consequences will Wave a most unpleasant character.”
