BASKETBALL
Schools Tournament Teams from the New Plymouth Girls’ High School and the Stratford Technical High School met in three basketball matches, part of the secondary schools' triangular tournament which includes Hawera at Stratford j on Saturday. New Plymouth won ,A | and 1 B games and the C teams drew. : The scores were:— ( | New Plymouth A 14 v. Stratford A ■ 11. New Plymouth B 15 v. Stratford B ; 7. ' Stratford C 10 v. New Plymouth C , 10. Miscue, Thomson, E. Pearce, J. Tay- i lor and McCluggage were referees for j the matches.
