HORSE CARRIED MANY AN UNKNOWN TO MOTION PICTURE FAME.
The horse upon which three motion picture stars rode to fame rides again in Paramouni.’s “The Plainsman,” Cecil B. DeMille’s saga of the West, showing ct the Plaza next Saturday. He is tile sorrel upon which Gary Cooper, who heads the elaborate cask, first appeared in Westerns. He was alto the mount of Randolph Scott, when that handsome hero made his screen default, and later ot Jimmy Ellison in the “Hopalong Cassidy” series. Ellison, who plays the part of “Buffalo Bill” Cody in “The Plainsman,” rides the horse again in that film. His romance with a beautiful S’t. Louis belle, poiftrayed by Helen Burgess, a newcomer to films, is one of the important parts in the film, which is laid against the romance be--ween Garry Cooper and Jean Arthur.
