Following President Roosevelt’s approval of ‘the recommendation, Miss Dorothy Perkins, Secretary for Labour, has appointed a speci’al board to mediate in the steel strike. Mr Lloyd Garrison, former chairman of .the Federated Labour Board, Mr Charles Taft, a son of a former President, and Mr McGrady will sit at Cleveland, make an investigation and arbitrate on ahe issues if the parties are willing.
