Sergeant C. M. Anniss suffered a sudden attack of illness this morning and will be confined to his bed for a few days. Miss D. Thompson, who has been cashier at Messrs. HallGnstein Bros, at Stratford for the last four years, is leaving to take up a responsible Position with the Auckland Power Board. Before leaving the staff presented her with a suitcase.
