EAST EGMONT

Ski-ing Activity The monthly meeting of the East committee of the Eginont National Park Board held last night was itten'ded by Messrs.. T. R. Anderson (chairman), W. L. Kennedy, W. Vickers and A. W. White. The fence of the section of the reserve near the entrance gate had been repaired by potting in ‘ twenty-two hew posts, reported the caretaker, Mr. J. C'arryer. General surface work whs carried out on the road during the month. Ski-in.g was in full swing and a busy season was anticipated.

A statement of revenue submitted by the secretary, Mr. G. A. Cai-ter, showed receipts for last month amounting to £27/1/10 as compared with £4O/5/6 for May, 1936. It was resolved to again communicate with the Park Board stressing the urgency of the rep’j nting of the area of 28 actes of the reserve adjacent to the Barclay Road. An opinion that the camping ground regulations did not apply to the Park Board was conveyed in a communication from the Board solicitors.
