IMPERIAL CONFERENCE DELEGATES’ FINAL SPEECHES ■ Expansion Of International Trade Press Association —Copyright. ((Received Ipm.) London, June 15. The Imperial Conference concluded with speeches by all the principal delegates. The Prime Minister, Mr Neville Chamberlain, declared that Ithe Conference haidi been an unqualified success. Hon. M. J. Savage stated that he was more than ever convinced of the great part the Briltish Commonwealth could play in the old contest of the balance of power. He stressed the necessity tor further al. tern pts to expand International trade, and expressed the fervent hope that the British Commonwealh would give a lead -to other nations in this direction, ait 3* also in improving the Standard of life of the mass.es. The principal 'document issued by the Conference is a summary of Ithe proceedings, which contains no attempt to .formulate commitments on foreign matters, -bull expresses faith, in the League of Nations and a determination to further in every respect possible causes aiming at International peace.
