Exactly two years after the cessation of the Gran Chaco war the Paraguayan army has revolted, seeking to overthrow Don Rafael Frano, provisional President of Paraguay, and prevent him from ceding terrain in accordance with the peace agreements.
Since the entire army is united against Don Frano, his overthrow by the insurgents is expected at any moment.
