Six .thousand members of the Wo. men’s League of Health and Beauty participated in the Coronation Pageant at Wembley Stadium, under the leadership of Miss Prunello Stack. The performers represented 200 countries.
The most effective item was mats exercises in which all shared a waist movement with swinging arms, suggesting the flight of a myriad of tea gulls.
