BOROUGH ELECTIONS.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—In reply to the letter of “Fopuli Vox” in the issue of the 11th inst., 1 would like the residents and ratepayers to think well before casting their votes for men who have only been in the town for five minutes and who I doubt are even ratepayers—although they may be able and fighting speakers. Now Sir, there are men among the candidates who have been ratepayers of the borough for many years, who ' Would make very able councillors. . They are the men we want on the | Council. “Populi Vox” mentions that | the present Councillors are inarticui late or have no voice of their own, ■ which statement I consider is a reflecI tion on the electors who put the present council in.—Yours etc., INTERESTED.
