LINDBERGH COMMEMORATION

Approval By Minister Paris, June 9. The Aero Club states thalt the Minister of Air, M Cot, had approved an air race to Damascus and back 1 , starting on August 20, in ,celebration of the 10th anniversary of Colonel Lindbergh’s firslt solo flight over the Atlantic. Twenty.two entrants were recorded for the first project, a transatlantic flight, which was frowned upon by tthe United States. A round-Eur-ope event also was dropped.
