(Receivefl 11.30 a m.) Worcester, June 10. The New Zealanders have an uphill struggle in their match against Worcester. County made 374 in their first innings and declared at six wickets tor 208 in their second. New Zealand Was dismissed: for 154 and had lost one wicket for It when stumps were drawn. New Zealand collapsed when the wicket and the outfield seemingly favoured the batsmen, five wickets falling within an hour. Hadlee and Carson stayed till the lunch adjournment, but both fell quickly afterwards- The only other stand was that of 24 runs for the last wicket by Weir and Gallirhan. A feature of Yorkshire’s second innings was the steady bowling of the tourists, but late in the afternoon County forced the pace, the declaration leaving the New Zealanders half an houp to bat.
