Tourney At Manaia Following were .’the trophy winners in the Rugby and basketball tournament at Manaia yesterday: Primary Rugby: Yarrow Cup, Stratford; Herbert Smith Trust Cup (run-Iner-up), Matapu; consolation, Toko. ! Primary basketball: Yarrow Cup, j Manaia; Herbert Smith Trust Cup I (runner.up), Okaiawa; consolation, Hawera. Secondary Rugby: Herbert Smith Trust Cup, Hawera Technical High School B; runner-up, Hawera. Technical High School A. Secondary basketball: Bennett and Sutton Cup, Hawera Convent B; run-ner-up, Hawera Convent A. Stratford, winner of the A division, won the Rugby championship by defeating Malbapu, winner of the B division, by 8 points to 3. Toko, winner of the consolation A division, defeated' Opunake A, winner of the B division by 12 points to nil in the final.
