Southern Leaders Extended Although heavy showers of bail were experienced at most grounds in the latter part of the afternoon, weather did not cause the abandonment of any Taranaki hockey matches on Sl.tturday. The only game not played was Manaia-OKaiawa junior women's fixture for which no referee put in an appearance. Egmont and Manlaia were fully extended to win from Oeo and Tokaora in the southern division. The feature of play in the northern division was Kaponga’s defeat of Eltham. StiUtfond beat Wesley.
