Olin absorbed terrific punishment but never threatened the champion. The contender wus twice floored and was: greatly weakened in the fourth round when lie was dropped for the count of eight by a hard right to the heart. Lewis after this pounded him with hard rights and lefts to the face and continued the battering until the end. Lewis weighed 12st 61b and Olin 12st 6Jlb.
