GOOD DAIRYING SEASON

OUTPUT AT WHANGAREI Weather Benefits Pastures Press Association —Copyright. Whangarei, June 4. All the company’s- records in production have been broken this season by the Whangarei Co-operativ e Dairy Company, Limited. For the 11 months ended May 31 the production of butter was 3082 tons, compared with 2754 tons for the same period last season, an increase of nearly 328 tons. The output last month was 131 tons, compared with 108 tons for tile same month in 1936.

Although the wet, weather is retarding work on the farms., the growth is exceptional. Everywhere paddocks are looking green, and those pastures that have been well top-dressed look particularly well. Stock of all kinds is in excellent condition. Everything to another good- season for dairying.
