WINTER IN HAWKE’S BAY.
A very dry winter is being experienced throughout Central Hawke’s Bay. The rainfall in 1936 up to May 31 totalled nearly 19 inches, but less than 7 inches has been recorded for the same period this year. So far the winter has been particularly mild.
