Motorist’s Attitude To Injured Man Press Association I —Copyright. Napier, May 31. “I cannot stress too strongly the motorist’s attitude toward the injured man," remarked the Magistrate today when fining Frank Macovlni £2 for negligent driving. The charge was a sequel to an accident after a dance at Taradale on ; March 18, when a Maori was knocked I down and had_ a leg injured. In evidence it was alleged the defendant said when requested to take the Injured man to hospital: “Let his own drunken friends take him." The Magistrate heiefliat negligence had been overwhelmingly proved.
