GOLDMINER’S DEATH

Former Flying Officer Press Association —Copyright. Grey mouth, May 30. Edgar Hastings Cambridge, aged 48, a goldminer, was found dead in his hut at Gladstone early last night. Deceased suffered from war disabilities and was subject to frequent heart attacks. An inquest may be necessary. Mr Cambridge was a member of the Australian Royal Engineers and was present at the Gallipoli landing. Later he was in the British Royal Flying Corps, being discharged in 1920 with the rank of flight captain A. brother is the captain of the mission ship Southern Cross VII. Another brother resides at Omarama.
