Although the Duke of Windsor by his instrument of abdication expressly excluded himself from the title of Royal Highness, the King, by Letters Patent which have just been issued, wishes him still to enjoy that title.

The title, however, will not extend to his wife or possible children, who, however, will be entitled to forms of address appropriate to the Duke’s wife and children.
