MILADI’S LIPSTICK
German Women Laugh An attractive Sydney woman, Mrs F A. Bellingham, who with her husband, Dr. Bellingham, of Belmore, has returned. 0o Sydney after a trip abroad, found herself an object of great curiosity when she arrived in Berlin on a recent visit, because ot her use of lipstick and make-up, says the “Sun.” “People s-tared so much and were so amused at my lipstick andi rouge that after a couple of days, I just stopped using it,” she said. “I was actually pointed out and openljl laughed at by the German women who do not seem 'to miss in the least the ordinary cosmetics that everyone else uses every day." In spite ot that, however, Mrs. Bellingham acclaims Berlin as the most beautiful of the capitals which she visited on a two months’ motor tour of Europe
The shops in Berlin, said Mrs Bellingham, were very modern and attractive, and full of smart clothes, but strangely enough, the models in the windows did not .seem to be sought after by the Berlin women, who dressed very simply, "After Berlin, Paris is a contrast, and there, of course, cosmetics | seem to be overdone, especially eye j make-up,” said Mrs. Bellingham.
