The Management of the King’s Theatre wish to convey their sincere apology to the many patrons who attended the theatre last evening for the inconvenience caused them through the unavoidable mechanical breakdown of the sound apparatus. To one and all they wish to convey their many thanks for the patient and sporting-like manner with which they endured the long wait and for their good-spirited a-'/ion :in accepting the final announcement that the performance could not be continued. Everything conceivably possible was done to avoid the necessity of having to abandon the screening and in this direction the management wish to particularly thank Messrs. W. E. Burgess! (Burgess Radio Centra)), A. E. Pollock (Borough Electrical Engineer) and P. White (Borough Electrical Staff) foi' their valuable and greatly appreciated assistance during, the whole unfortunate situation. The' trouble has now been located and permanently rectified.
