Reconstructed Ministry Press Association—Copyright. London, May 27. The Prime Minister, Mr Stanley Baldwin, will tender his resignation to the King to-morrow. His Majesty will also receive the Lord President of the Council, Mr Ramsay MacDonald. There were no set speeches at yesterday’s Cabinet meeting, but it is understood that it closed with expressions of regret at the retirement of Mr Baldwin and Mr MacDonald. It is expected that the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr Neville Chamberlain, who will be Mr Baldwin’s successor, will announce his reconstructed Ministry to-morrow evening.
