BIG PROPERTY DEAL
Hastings Premises Change Hands AT hough full details are not yet available, the completion is reported of an exceptionally big property deal in Hastings. The land upon which Hall-enstein Bros.’ building now stands bias' been sold to a syndicate, and it is understood that plans for the complete rebuilding of the premises on modern and .up-to-date lines are now being prepared. When the new premises are completed a portion of the new premises will be occupied by Bairds, Ltd., the remainder being reoccupied' by Hallenstein Bros. This section, which not many years ago could have been purchased with others in 'the vicinity at a moderate price, now commands a purchase price in the vicinity of £275 a foot.
