LEAVING ON JUNE 27

Altered Plans Cause Disappointment

Press Association —Copyright. (Received 11.30 a.m.) London, May 26.

The New Zealand Coronation contingent is leaving for home on June 27, but a large crowdl of their countryman are disappointed that there will be no chance of farewelling them. It was originally arranged that the troops would entrain at Liverpool Street at 3.30 pm. for the Royal Albert Docks, where they would board the Rangitiki. The New Zealand High Commissioner’s Office sent out a circular advising New Zealanders resident in London of their arrangements. Then the War Office decided at the last mniute that owing, it is l stated, to the baggage transport problem, the troops would go direct from Pirbright to the docks, resulting in the High Commissioner’s Office having to issue a circular cancelling the previous one. The troops are upset, several calling at the Office to express their disappointment. A few

of the contingent intend remaining for a short holiday.
