! Hon. P. Fraser, Acting-Prime Minister, returned to Wellington from j Dannevirke this afternoon. Mr J. P. Kalaugher, secretary of the New Zealand Friesian Cattle Breeders’ Association, attended the annual meeting of association, which opened at Hawera yesterday. Colonel W. Clemesha, formerly of the Indian Medical Service, arrived ■ al. Auckland on the Wanganella. Col- ■ onel Clemesha, wher intends to make ! his home in Auckland, has j served in many parts of the world. | Dr H. G. Whitehead, bacteriologist at the Dairy Research Institute, Palmerston North, left Wellington by the Akaroa to represent New Zealand at the eleventh world dairy congress, to be held in Berlin in August.
