(Received 10.45 a.m.) London, May 25i Mrs Jill Wyndham obtained judgment in the King’s Bench Division for £549, wi-h costs, against Flying Officer Llewellyn, with whom she made a record flight, to the Caps' in 1935, the Judge refusing an adjournment of the case on account of Flying Officer Llewellyn’s absence:. Counsel stated that Mrs- Wyndham pawned her jewellery for £6lO -to finance the flight. She gave this to Flying Officer Llewellyn on the understanding that he would repay the loan, and also pay half the bonuses resulting from the flight. She also dlefiUyed his hotel expenses at Cairo and Capetown. He did not repay the money, and she had to sell her motor car in or-
der to make a bank deposit against payments. He failed to keep his ap-poin-mentfc' and make settlement. Mrs Wyndhhm denied! that she said that if she was not allowed to go she would wreck the machine.
