Counsel stated that Mrs- Wyndham pawned her jewellery for £6lO -to finance the flight. She gave this to Flying Officer Llewellyn on the understanding that he would repay the loan, and also pay half the bonuses resulting from the flight. She also dlefiUyed his hotel expenses at Cairo and Capetown. He did not repay the money, and she had to sell her motor car in or-
