Auckland, May 25. A fracture of the pelvis was suffered by Mr Harry Thompson, lagod 45, married, of Papaltoetoe, when he was pinned in an open trench by a fall of earth. Mr Thompson was caught by the fall and was.i buried up to the waist and a I2ft length of co nt ret e pinned- him in a stooping position. He was dug clear after being pinned under (the great weight of material for about 20 minutes.
