ATIENDANCE AFFECTED Covering Of Syllabus The l monthly meeting of the Stratford Technical High School Beard was held last night. present were: Messrs J. McAllister (chairman), A. Ferguson, W. J. Polson, MP., J. H. Thomas, D. R. Turnbull and T. T. Murray. Reporting on the work of the school for the past month, the Principal, Mr A. H. R. Amess, stated that with the exception of the pupils excluded on account of the epidemic the attendance hadi been very good. The roll number was 333, comprised of 170 boys land 163 girls. Advice was received that the Minister of Education had approved of the payment of postage on emergency correspondence lessons rendered necessary through closing of schools. Messrs Murray, Polson and Thomas were appointed a sub-committee to report on the possibility of levelling an area at the Back of the school to provide an additional sports ground
