ROAD CYCLING
Amateur Club Run The fourth race of the Stratford Amateur Cycle Club series was run on Saturday over the nlne-mlle Bird Road circuit. Six riders took part, G. S. Beer securing first place and fastest time. Details are:— G. S Beer (2m) 1 | B. Coe (3m) 2 I W. Hendricks (sm) ... ... ? Beer's time was 26m 59f. Arrangements are being made with the Hawera club whereby it is hoped to hold a combined lace shortly.
