VISITORS ENTERTAINED
SOCIAL AND DANCE Jersey Club’s Function To entertain visitors to Stratford for the annual meeting of the New Zealand Jersey Cattle Breeders’ Association, a social and dance was held in • he Town Hall on Saturday night. The function opened with dancing, and at the conclusion of supper a short toast list was honoured. Mr C. H. Clemow, president of the Stratford Club, presided. A programme of musical and elocutionary items was con-tribu 1 ed< to by Mrs Rankin, Messrs Baden Bellringer, Den Kerr, the Melody Four (Messrs Bellringer, Kerr, W. P. Okey, F. Hooker) and Mr W. J. Hall. Miss Galbraith played the accompaniments. Vinten’s Ambassadors’ Orchestra played the music for the dance, for which Mr A. O’Sullivan was M.C.
