UNIVERSITY ANNIVERSARY.
Fifty-four years ago yesterday the Auckland University College held its Official opening ceremony in the bld Choral Hall, presided over by Sir Maurice O’Rorke, chairman of the college council. On that occasion ths address was delivered by the Governor of New Zealand, Sir William Jervois. who criticised the insufficient accommodation with which the college was equipped. The college jubilee was appropriately celebrated in 1933.
