ROUGH WRESTLING

Bout At Gisborne Press Association—Copyright. Gisborne, May 20. In a rough exhibition of wrestling to-night, Jack Forsgren, of Canada, defeated Tom Mead, of America, by two falls to one, Mead being unable to continue in the eighth round. In the seventh round the referee, Mr T. Smale, was felled with an elbow jolt, and while he was on the mat Forsgren pinned Mead, but the fall was disallowed through police intervention. Forsgren secured a fall with a Boston crab in the third round'. Mead equalled in the sixth after a series of flying ta kies. In the eighth round Mead missed aith a flying tackle, larding in the footlights, one, was unable to continue.
