COUNTY AMALGAMATION.
Tha Wairarapa South County Council at a meeting yesterday passed a unanimous resolution protesting against compulsory amalgamation. UNIFORM FOR INSPECTOR 'The' regulation makes it necessary for me to wear a cap, and it would look rather odd without a uniform,” stated Mr S. J. Cuff, County Inspector, in applying at to-day’s meeting for a uniform. The request was granted.
